Welcome to 1DAI ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our fitness training platform on the web, iOS, and Android.
Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us, and some information automatically when you use the platform.
Information you provide:
- Account Information: Name, email address, and password.
- Profile Data: Profile photo, fitness goals, and preferences. Optionally, you may also add your phone number, date of birth, gender, physical address, and social media links.
- Health & Fitness Data: Workout history, cardio activity, progress measurements, body metrics (such as weight and body-fat percentage), sleep, progress photos, and — if you choose to connect them — health and activity data from Apple Health or Health Connect.
- Communication Data: Messages between trainers and members, and your interactions with in-app AI features.
- Payment Information: When you make a purchase, payment details are collected and processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers ourselves.
Information collected automatically:
- Technical & Usage Data: Device information, app version, crash and error diagnostics, and IP address (used for security, abuse prevention, and audit logging).
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain our services
- Enable communication between trainers and members
- Track fitness progress and generate insights
- Provide AI-assisted features such as workout generation and form analysis
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Send important updates about your account, and (where permitted) optional marketing you can opt out of
- Improve our platform and develop new features
- Ensure platform security and prevent fraud and abuse
AI Features
1DAI offers AI-assisted features, including workout generation and exercise form analysis. To provide these, the relevant inputs (such as your goals, exercise selections, or an uploaded form-check video's analysis data) are sent to a third-party AI provider that processes them on our behalf. AI outputs are for informational and fitness purposes only and are not medical advice. We do not use a payment paywall to gate access to crisis or safety resources.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:
- With Your Trainer: If you're a member, your assigned trainer can access your fitness data, progress, and communication history.
- With Your Members: If you're a trainer, your members can see your profile information.
- Service Providers (Sub-processors): Third parties that help us operate the platform, each only with the data needed for their function:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage hosting
- Stripe — payment processing
- Anthropic — AI workout generation and form analysis
- Sentry — crash and error reporting, including session replay with all text and images masked
- Cloudflare — bot and abuse prevention
- Expo — push notification delivery
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or the safety of others.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest, including field-level encryption of sensitive personal information
- Optional two-factor authentication (2FA) for enhanced account security
- Row-level database access controls and strict internal access controls
- Regular security monitoring and audits
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Withdraw consent at any time

Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain certain records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention obligations.
International Data Transfers
1DAI is available worldwide. Your information may be processed and stored on infrastructure located in countries other than your own, including Canada and the United States. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection when transferred internationally.
Device Storage & Cookies
On the web, we use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. In our mobile apps, we use on-device storage and session tokens for the same purposes. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Children's Privacy
1DAI is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at privacy@1dai.app and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice in the app.
